COVID-19 UPDATE

NONPROFIT TOWER THEATRE FOUNDATION

The safety of Tower patrons, staff, volunteers and performers is of paramount importance. With continuing COVID-19 cases and illness, plus evolving industry norms and best practices, the Tower Theatre now requires proof of full vaccination for entry to all performances. Those not fully vaccinated ages 12 and up must show proof of a negative result from an approved COVID test taken within 72 hours of the performance. “Fully vaccinated” means receiving the final vaccination dose of Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson at least 14 days before the performance date. All patrons need to provide this information as a condition of entry. Based on Oregon mandates, mask wearing is also required inside the venue by everyone 5 and up, regardless of vaccination status.

These protocols extend until further notice and are subject to review and change according to federal, state and county recommendations and guidelines. Ticketholders will be notified by email if health safety protocols change immediately before an event.

Our partners at the Old Mill District have opened their COVID-19 testing services at no cost to Tower patrons! Health services provider Curative offers COVID-19 testing in a mobile testing van in the west side parking lot next to the Hayden Homes Amphitheater. PCR test results are delivered electronically within 24-48 hours. Rapid antigen test results are delivered electronically within 15-30 minutes. Register for your free test at Curative.com. Walk-ups are also accepted.

If you are sick or not feeling well, please stay home. Refunds will be issued to anyone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms when they arrive.

In lieu of a refund, please consider helping sustain the performing arts in Central Oregon by:

·       Donating the price of your unused tickets as a tax-deductible gift to the Tower

·       Crediting the ticket amount to your account or exchanging for a future program

·       Purchasing a Tower membership

·       Texting “Tower” to 44321 with a special contribution

PLEASE NOTE: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people gather. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By entering the Tower Theatre's facilities, employees and patrons voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

FAQ’s

Do I still need to wear a mask?
Yes, per the State of Oregon masks are required in all public places. Masks must completely cover your nose and mouth. Gaiters and bandanas are not acceptable. If a face mask does not comply with Tower policy, we will provide a complimentary replacement face mask. Masks must be worn at all times except while eating or drinking for brief periods.

I bought a ticket before this policy was enacted. I no longer wish to attend. What is your refund policy?
The Tower Theatre will provide refunds for patrons who purchased tickets prior to August 31, 2021 for those not wishing to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test. Refunds will not be provided for tickets purchased after August 31,2021 for refusal to provide proof of vaccination or negative COVID test. Admittance will be denied if you arrive without proof of vaccination or a negative test, or with insufficient proof (e.g. test results that are more than 72 hours old).

What if I tested positive prior to the show date and cannot attend?
Should you test positive within two weeks of your show date, please contact the Box Office to discuss ticket refund options.
