Pigs on the Wing turns 20 this year and continues the celebration with a very special live performance inspired by Pink Floyd’s iconic 1972 concert film, ‘Live at Pompeii’, plus a full second set of classic hits and fan favorites.

Recorded live in the ruins of the Amphitheater of Pompeii, the film captured Pink Floyd in their early years before global stardom in a pioneering concert film format with no audience. The eerie visual emptiness of the space was the perfect compliment to Floyd’s mind-bending selection of classic psychedelic rock. ‘Live at Pompeii’ has long been a defining musical reference point for Pigs on the Wing as a band, and it is with the greatest respect and admiration for the source material that they embark on this journey for their 2026-2027 tour.

In true-to-form style, Pigs on the Wing approaches the music of ‘Live at Pompeii ‘ by leaning into the band’s strengths and influences as musicians, rather than sticking to a strictly note-for-note tribute band approach. The result, the band members feel, captures the sonic intensity of the original recording in a way that is precise when needed, yet free to explore the musical space and push the envelope in the same way Pink Floyd would have.

Additionally, fans can expect a carefully curated second set containing hits and fan favorites from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall and more. This is a don’t-miss concert experience for any classic rock aficionado.

This tour also continues Pigs on the Wing’s 20th anniversary as a band, the beginnings of which hail back to 2006. What started as a one-off club performance, has grown into a fully modern show with full-scale lighting, lasers, and immersive multimedia productions. Having performed hundreds of shows in top venues throughout the West Coast, Portland Oregon-based Pink Floyd tribute Pigs on the Wing has built a loyal following dedicated to the band’s high-energy take on Pink Floyd’s music. All members of Pigs on the Wing are seasoned veterans of the Pacific Northwest rock scene and are unapologetic in bringing their wide-ranging musical influences to the table in interpreting the legendary musical legacy of Pink Floyd.
