Simulating a trip through the different places and forms of Argentine folk music, this lecture aims to provide an overview of the musical productions in the country and South America, finding commonalities and peculiar characteristics within its geographical context. It is especially designed for musicians, guitarists, and music researchers. Different styles of Argentine folk Music and the big influence of the Spanish guitar in its development will be shown.
