Bluebird Improv is a powerhouse lineup of comedy veterans delivering a fast-paced, completely unscripted night of improv built on audience suggestions and razor-sharp comedic instincts. The troupe features an all-star cast including Tim Meadows, Edi Patterson, Marc Evan Jackson, Matt Walsh, Joe Canale, and Brad Morris. Together they bring decades of experience from television, film, and the country’s top improv stages, creating a show that is smart, spontaneous, and wildly unpredictable.
Members of Bluebird Improv have appeared in beloved series such as Saturday Night Live, The Righteous Gemstones, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Veep, and are alumni of legendary comedy institutions including The Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Their collective chemistry and quick-thinking brilliance turn every performance into a one-of-a-kind experience, no scripts, no safety net, just world-class comedians creating unforgettable comedy in real time.
Liam Gibler is a stand-up comedian and improviser. He was a semi-finalist in 2025’s Portland’s Funniest Person Competition, 2x winner of the ‘so you think you got jokes’ comedy competition and won Central Oregon’s 1st Improv Grand Prix with a randomly selected team of improvisers.
Liam’s style is a mix of introspective storytelling and quick wit as he finds himself balancing between his hopes and failures. He is a cast member of the Roundabouts Improv, the Secret Theater, and a featured guest of Salem’s comedy club improv team Electric Baguette. Liam’s life was featured in a documentary episode of the podcast Journalistika.
Tim Meadows is an actor, writer comedian who was one of the longest-running cast members on Saturday Night Live, where he appeared for ten seasons and for which he received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1993.
Tim started as a member of the renowned Second City comedy troupe in Chicago, beside future star Chris Farley. Prior to starring on SNL, he worked there as a writer until becoming a cast member in 1991.
