About First Friday:
This Friday, April 3rd, join us for one of our favorite nights of the year—Youth Art Takeover during First Friday in Downtown Bend!
From 5–8pm, local students will take over downtown businesses with incredible art, live music, and performances. It’s a chance to experience downtown through the creativity and talent of Central Oregon’s next generation.
And like traditional First Fridays, many businesses will also be hosting local (adult) artists and special activations, making this one of the most vibrant First Fridays of the season.
After a week of cold weather, we’re finally getting our first sunny evening—so it’s the perfect excuse to get outside, stroll downtown, and soak it all in.
As you explore, just look for the balloons outside participating businesses—they’ll guide you to each stop along the way.
Let’s show up for these students, celebrate local artists of all ages, and enjoy a night that truly captures the spirit of our community.
