Serving Our Community by Enhancing Education

What is LessonPLAN?

The Nonprofit Tower Theatre Foundation’s education program, LessonPLAN (Performing Live Arts Now), has successfully connected over 47,000 students to the world of performing arts in Central Oregon since its inception in 2011. Students and educators from public, private, and homeschool groups across Central Oregon are invited to matinée performances and in-school assemblies. LessonPLAN curates a diverse range of performances by local, regional, national and international artists, providing inspiration and engagement throughout the school year.

Enriching Young Minds

LessonPLAN isn’t just about showcasing the arts; it’s about engaging young minds, enriching educational experiences, and instilling a love for performing arts. Thousands of students annually have the opportunity of immersing themselves in unforgettable artistic experiences, thanks to the support of grants, generous donors, and the Tower Education Fund. Participating schools gain access to these performances at a minimal charge.

How to Participate

Information about the LessonPLAN season is distributed to all Central Oregon students in the late summer when educators are back in the office. Requests from schools are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, contingent on seat availability. For further details or to express interest, book and educational tour of the Tower, or have the Tower come to you, please reach out to Becca Swain, Education Coordinator.inds

Join us on this transformative journey, where the arts become a bridge connecting generations and shaping a future full of creativity.
