VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for structuring and managing a robust volunteer corps to provide regular services and support to all functions and departments of the nonprofit Tower Theatre Foundation. This is an hourly, part-time position with flexible hours and averages 20 hours a week. Hours necessary to meet requirements of this position include evening and weekend work. LIGHTING DIRECTOR / BOARD OPERATOR

Responsible for programming during rehearsals/shows, lighting equipment maintenance, new equipment proposals, load in, load out, etc. Knowledge of other departments and ability to crossover will be given heavy consideration.

AUDIO1 / FRONT OF HOUSE / MONITORS

Responsible for programming and mixing rehearsals/shows, audio equipment maintenance, new equipment proposals, load in, load out, etc. Knowledge of other departments and ability to crossover will be given heavy consideration.

ABOUT THE JOBS

Both positions report directly to the Production Manager. These are not white glove jobs. We are a small but dedicated staff, and even smaller tech crew. We prioritize primary responsibilities in your preferred role but reward the ability to “float” and cover other production duties. Diversity and flexibility are key. Experience in multiple genres a huge plus.

HOURS & BENEFITS 

Both positions are currently part-time, event based. In the busy season, this is 35-40 hrs./wk. minimum, generally with some OT.  

There is potential for these to become full-time positions for candidates possessing the right skills and positive interactions with the team. Full-time benefits at the Tower include medical, vision, and company-matched Simple IRA.

ABOUT THE TOWER THEATRE

The Tower Theatre Foundation, nonprofit owner and operator of the 460-seat multi-use proscenium theatre in Bend, Oregon. We average 220 events per year, the busy season is typically September - May with some events over the summer. The Tower hosts a mix of concerts, theatre, film, dance, corporate events, etc.
