Pick Up The Pieces: A Celebration of Motown & Classic Soul

Motown and Classic Soul music are among the most influential and significant in American history. By blending R&B with pop structures, big band jazz, and symphonic strings, soul music’s rhythmically tight arrangements and heavy syncopation continue to inspire contemporary music and tap the toes of countless listeners. Pick Up The Pieces is an improvisational tribute to this incredible music. It features an all-star lineup of Bend musicians from popular local bands, including Call Down Thunder, The Hasbens, Mama’s Boy, Company Grand, Travis Ehrenstrom Band, and Oregon Fryer. This high-energy performance will have you dancing and singing along to some of history’s favorite tunes.
