Born in Portland, Oregon, Never Come Down brings a fresh, fearless energy to modern bluegrass. Rooted in tradition but never bound by it, the band blends standout songwriting, fiery musicianship and irresistible harmonies into a sound that feels both timeless and entirely their own.

They’ve won over audiences from Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik to San Francisco’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and toured alongside favorites including Yonder Mountain String Band and The Travelin’ McCourys.

Smart, soulful and packed with musical firepower, Never Come Down is at its best live, where tight picking, undeniable chemistry and pure joy take over. This is bluegrass with one foot in tradition and the other pushing full speed ahead.

Skillethead

Bend’s own Skillethead serves up bluegrass with some serious Central Oregon flavor. Rooted in driving fiddle tunes, tight harmonies and old-school single-mic picking, this five-piece isn’t afraid to stretch the boundaries with unexpected influences, originals and the occasional rock song turned completely on its head.

Featuring Benji Nagel, Joe Schulte, Aaron Moore, Garrett Miller and Casey Willis, their first official album, Check the Weather, arrived in 2026, adding another chapter to this hometown band’s story. Fast picking, big harmonies and plenty of Bend-grown personality. Come cheer on the hometown crew at the Tower!

The Historical  Preservation fee is a $8 charge on each ticket purchased both online and  through the Box Office. This fee helps fund the nonprofit Tower  Theatres ongoing restoration and maintenance. The fee added to your ticket is  essential to maintain and enhance this iconic 1940 landmark.
