Timothy Schmit

Well-known as the bass player and singer with The Eagles, Schmit brings his own band to Bend for an evening of classic rock and electric country music.

Timothy joined The Eagles in 1977, and, alongside Glenn Frey, Don Henley and Joe Walsh, soon brought a new identity to the supergroup, singing lead on "I Can't Tell You Why" and "Love Will Keep Us Alive."

From his start with Poco, Schmit has performed with Firefall, Steely Dan, Toto, Boz Scaggs, Bob Seger, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Roy Orbison, Jimmy Buffett and Ringo Starr.

In only one of two  shows in Oregon, Schmit will feature hits from the Eagles, plus songs from Expando, his first solo album in eight years.

Tickets are $30 & $35. On sale Oct. 21 to Tower members; Oct. 28 to general public. All seats are reserved. Info and tickets at www.TowerTheatre.org and 541-317-0700.
