The Tower Theatre Foundation and Thoroughly Modern Productions presents the Broadway hit and 1980's glam-band tribute "Rock of Ages" Sept. 15-17 and 21-23. Set on the Sunset Strip in 1987, multiple Tony-nominee "Rock of Ages" tells the story of Drew, a busboy from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town Kansas girl, chasing L.A. show biz dreams, falling in love, and saving a superstar through power ballads.
“Rock of Ages” is a time of jukebox heroes, a place where every rose has its thorn, with people who don’t stop believing.
Singalong and play air guitar to an electrifying mix of classic rock anthems played live onstage, including:
“Sister Christian" (Night Ranger)
"We Built This City” (Starship)
“Too Much Time on My Hands” (Styx)
"We're Not Gonna Take It" (Twisted Sister)
"Waiting for a Girl Like You" (Foreigner)
"I Want to Know What Love Is" (Foreigner)
"Harden My Heart/Shadows of the Night" (Quarterflash/Pat Benatar)
"Here I Go Again" (Whitesnake)
“Heat of the Moment" (Asia)
"Hit Me with Your Best Shot" (Pat Benatar)
"Can't Fight This Feeling" (REO Speedwagon)
"Keep On Loving You" (REO Speedwagon)
"Oh Sherrie" (Steve Perry)
This show is nothin’ but a good time, and will leave you rockin’ Bend like a Towering hurricane!
