The safety of Tower patrons, staff, volunteers and performers is of paramount importance. With continuing COVID-19 cases and illness, plus evolving industry norms and best practices, the Tower Theatre now requires proof of full vaccination for entry to all performances. Those not fully vaccinated, ages 12 and up, must show proof of a negative result from an approved COVID test taken within 72 hours of the performance. “Fully vaccinated” means receiving the final vaccination dose of Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson at least 14 days before the performance date. All patrons need to provide this information as a condition of entry. Based on Oregon mandates, mask wearing is also required inside the venue by everyone 5 and up, regardless of vaccination status.

These protocols are subject to review and change according to federal, state and county recommendations and guidelines.

Acclaimed for her spellbinding vocals and stirring melodies, Paula Fuga celebrates the release of her much-anticipated second full-length album Rain On Sunday, her debut release on Jack Johnson’s own Brushfire Records and Republic Records. She has been called the Hawaiian Queen of Soul, blending tradition, innovation, and originality, seamlessly drawing from many musical influences -- Hawaiian, soul, reggae, island, and jazz-- to create moving songs that resonate deeply with audiences. She has collaborated and performed on projects with Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Ziggy Marley, and Damian Marley. Paula’s new album Rain On Sunday was released on Brushfire Records with more than 3-million downloads.

Having faced the vulnerabilities of homelessness at an early age, Fuga began with poetry as a platform to express her experiences and bloomed into a songwriter when she began playing the ‘ukulele. Her first album earned her the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award (Hawai‘i’s “Grammy”) for Most Promising Artist. She is now one of Hawai‘i’s most sought-after live performers. Her exquisite vocals, powerful lyrics, and gorgeous, soulful melodies have earned her widespread critical praise and endears her to fans around the world. She is among the distinguished artists honored to have performed for President Obama at the White House in Washington, DC. and inspires students by serving as a Turnaround Arts performer in Hawai‘i.
