Broadway in Concert: Guys and Dolls

A high energy evening of musical theater presented by Thoroughly Modern Productions (“Disney’s The Little Mermaid” and "Peter Pan").

Thoroughly Modern Productions is privileged and excited to present "Guys and Dolls" for The Tower Theatre Foundation. Performers and orchestra will share the stage in this inaugural production of what is planned to be an annual "Broadway in Concert" series.

“Guys and Dolls” will be produced by Thoroughly Modern Productions' Founder and Artistic Director, David DaCosta along with Musical Direction by Scott Michaelsen and Choreography by Michelle Lowry-Mejaski of Mejaski Choreography. 

Written by Frank Loesser, “Guys and Dolls” is a Pilitzer Prize / TONY Award winning musical. Based on Damon Runyon’s colorful New York gangsters and gamblers of the 1920’and 1930’s, including Nathan Detroit and Sky Masterson, the show features such popular songs as “Luck Be A Lady,” “A Bushel and a Peck,” and the rousing showstopper “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat." RELEASED 3.30.17: Thoroughly Modern Productions, in partnership with The Tower Theatre Foundation and Mt Bachelor Senior Living, has announced the Sunday, June 4th matinee performance of “Guys and Dolls” Broadway in Concert will be specially presented and designed to create a failure-free environment for seniors, particularly those with cognitive and physical impairment.
