Live from Brooks Alley!
Scalehouse, The Bulletin and The Tower are joining together for a one-day event this Sunday, May 30 at the Tower, to bring attention to the ongoing Central Oregon Creative Artists Recovery Effort and to showcase a few local musicians. The Tower will throw open its backstage doors for performers to play for passersby on Brooks Alley. The theatre lobby on Wall Street will be open to the public for regional visual artists to display and sell their artworks.
The event is 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. with mini-performances starting at 1 p.m. Music acts will run for 20 to 25 minutes on the hour, each hour. In between, there will be a 10-minute break, followed by an area spoken-word poet for 10 to 15 minutes.
