Mad Science Presents Star Trek Live at the Tower

Mad Science Presents Star Trek Live at the Tower

Using science, math, technology—and a little imagination—Starfleet Commander Sean Christopher helps Central Oregon’s rookie cadets (and their parents!) stop a shocking invasion of Romulan forces who threaten planet Earth. With special effects, authentic Star Trek costumes and props, plus video appearances from Captain Kirk and Dr. Spock, “Star Trek Live” is an exhilarating and unforgettable journey for audiences of all ages.

“This show is a perfect combination of science and entertainment aimed at elementary-aged children” says Ray Solley, Executive Director of the Tower Theatre Foundation. “It teaches and encourages scientific learning while, to coin a phrase, boldly going where no one has gone before.”

Additional programs especially for families coming to the Tower this season are:

  • The Tweaksters (Feb. 13)
  • Peter and the Wolf (Feb. 20)
  • Winnie the Pooh (Apr. 26)

The Tower Theatre Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to maintaining and operating the historic theatre and making the best in performing arts available and accessible to all citizens of Central Oregon. Program information, group discounts, gift certificates, season and individual tickets are available at the Tower Theatre box office, or at www.towertheatre.org.
