The 5th Annual Trivia Bee, sponsored by Miller Lumber, is a spirited community competition held each year to raise funds to support our local children, teachers and schools through the non-profit Education Foundation for Bend-La Pine Schools. Each year, this fun event is eagerly anticipated as 45 three-person trivia teams made up of business people, friends, community members and teachers all seek a trivial victory -- or at least recognition for the best name!
This year's exciting community challenge will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010 starting at 6:00 PM. To add to the festive atmosphere, exceptional goodies will be provided by Zydeco Kitchen and Cocktails. Get ready for a rollicking time where you never can tell what might happen! Join us as an audience member to cheer on your favorite team, network with business and educational leaders, or vote for the best team name.
You can also enter a team in the competition or gain recognition for your organization by sponsoring a round during the event. More information can be found on the Education Foundation website or by calling the Education Foundation office at 541-322-5493.
