Visit Bend holds community forum at Tower Theatre June 21
Tickets: General Admission $5
Bend residents are invited to join an open discussion of Bend’s tourism industry and its impacts on the community and economy.
“Tourism 101” will take place from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21 at the Tower Theatre. The panel discussion will be led by Visit Bend CEO Kevney Dugan; City of Bend Economic Development Director Carolyn Eagan; and State of Oregon Regional Economist Damon Runberg. Presenters will speak for approximately 30 minutes, leaving time in the second half for Q&A with community members.
“It’s important for all of us who live, work, and play in Bend to be part of the ongoing conversation about tourism,” Dugan explained. “We’re all here because we love Bend, and we want everyone to have their voices heard. This is an opportunity to share information, clear up misconceptions, and foster dialogue between locals and tourism stakeholders.”
Tickets for the event are priced at $5, with 100-percent of sales going to the Central Oregon Trail Alliance.
