Yoleen has the best job at the Tower because she gets to work with all the volunteers!

A Bend resident since 1985, she remembers with sadness the tattered seats and movie screen and sticky floors of the Tower Theatre before its renovation. She saw some very bad third-run movies there before the days of home video.

Yoleen has worked for various local companies and agencies in town before earning her BA in Liberal Studies from OSU-Cascades in 2003. Old dogs can learn new tricks very well.

When she’s not at the Tower, you can find Yoleen playing her bassoon with the Cascade Winds Symphonic Band, for whom she obtained 501( c)3 status. Summers find her busy running the Tuesday Market at Eagle Crest. All year long, this recycling maven hovers over the wax pot, making candles from recycled wax. www.sustainableflame.com
