	Highland Trio The members of the Highland Trio collectively hold positions with the Pacific Symphony, Opera Pacific Orchestra, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and the San Diego Chamber Orchestra.  The group originated as a piano trio, but after many years of successful performances, including collaborations with the Corelli Chamber Players in New York City, as well as recitals in St. Louis and Cincinnati, the group welcomed the addition of a violist in order to expand their flexibility and repertoire to perform in the String Trio, Piano Trio, and Piano Quartet formations.  This performance will showcase the Highland String Trio and they will also be joined by Isabelle Senger to perform as a String Quartet.

Isabelle Senger (M.M. UC Los Angeles, magna cum laude, B.A. UC San Diego, summa cum laude) has concertized throughout North America and Europe and currently performs with numerous prominent orchestras in Southern California, including the Los Angeles & Pacific Opera Orchestras, and the Pasadena Symphony, among others. Previous orchestral engagements include the San Diego Symphony, the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, Principal Second Violin of the Orquesta de Baja, California, and she is a founding member of the Crown City String Quartet. Previous summer festivals attended include the Spoleto Festival, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Eastern Music Festival, and Meadowmount School of Music. Primary teachers include Mark Kaplan and Mark Baranov. Ms. Senger has worked with renowned composers in the Motion Picture and TV recording studios and has contributed to the albums of many of today’s top recording artists including Christina Aguilera, John McLaughlin, James Blunt, Mandy Barnett, Tiffany (produced by Dr. Dre), Evanescense, and Kanye West. She has also performed live with Andrea Bocelli, Olivia Newton-John, Donna Summer, Randy Newman, Yanni, John Tesh, Frank Sinatra Jr., and Keely Smith. In addition to her work as a classical musician, she has also produced and performed a “Fiddle Recital!” CD, which features fiddle, jazz, folk, and blues oriented compositions from collaborations with Wynton Marsalis, Mark O’Connor, and Marcus Roberts.
